Lori

A Place for Harmony, Healing & Happiness

Lori Arrechea began her yoga journey over 20 years ago, when her children were young, and she longed for something to help her relax and unwind. In 2003, she began taking yoga classes at her local YMCA, and loved it so much, she became a certified yoga instructor. She then transitioned to teaching classes of her own, and sharing the practice with others wherever she could; such as local gyms, corporate fitness centers, churches, and private homes around Somerset County. However, all this traveling, had her longing to consolidate her teachings into one special place, and establish a yoga community for her accumulating roster of students. Soon, her dream became a reality, when she created eZential Wellness, and found the perfect location in Branchburg, NJ.  Now, along with a group of dedicated and thoughtful yoga instructors, reiki practitioners, and event facilitators, Lori hopes everyone will find eZential Wellness their place for finding harmony, healing and happiness on their own wellness journey.

Our Mission & Studio Experience

At eZential Wellness, we offer yoga, private sessions, and a variety of events that are approachable and accessible to everyone, for the benefits of pro-aging and mental wellness. We welcome you to feel at ease while creating a sense of community with others and connection within yourself.

Join us in our comfortable lounge, lovingly called our “Zen Den”, for a cup of tea or to chat with others. Our small gift shop features locally-crafted items such as pottery, jewelry, art, essential oils, candles, and more! Plus, there is an assortment of crystals and gemstones to browse!

Our yoga studio/event room provides a quiet area of retreat at the opposite end of the building, with a vibe that feels soothing and spacious. In addition, we offer several private appointment rooms for reiki sessions, meditation, and other healing treatments. We hope to see you soon!

Lori Arrechea began her yoga journey in 2003, when as a mother of two young toddlers, she hoped to find an activity for herself to relax and unwind. She began taking yoga classes at her local YMCA, and loved it so much, she decided to become a certified yoga instructor to share its benefits with others. Lori then transitioned into teaching classes at the same YMCA, as well as privately from her home and others, local gyms, various Johnson & Johnson corporate fitness centers, and more. All this travelling, had Lori longing to consolidate her teachings into one place, and establish a special yoga community with her students.

Her dream became a reality, when she created eZential Wellness, and finally found her location for the perfect yoga studio in Branchburg, NJ. Along with a group of dedicated and thoughtful instructors, Lori hopes each and every student will find eZential Wellness a place for harmony, healing and happiness on their own personal yoga journey.

After attending eZential Wellness classes for more than 6 years, I still wake up every Monday looking forward to attending Lori’s Soothing Stretch class. I find it incredibly rewarding to begin the week with a gentle and full body wake up. I also take and enjoy other classes regularly, such as a Yoga for Spinal Health and Yoga Basics. All of these classes have helped me to build core strength and increase flexibility, which have been extremely beneficial for my overall health. As a bonus, several fellow students I’ve met along the way have become valued friends.

The studio is very neat and clean, and it gives a warm and soothing feeling when you walk in. I like the various events offered throughout the month to try something new. I also enjoy the small gift shop and lounge area for tea and conversation. My favorite classes are Soothing Stretch and Spinal Health; these classes are easy to follow which relaxes your mind and body. I appreciate the time before classes to talk with other students and share what is going on around us. The virtual classes offered during the pandemic were incredibly appreciated; I felt like I was still at the studio. I have taken yoga at several places in the past 15 years, but want to say that this is the best yoga place I have been so far that has classes for all levels from beginners to advanced.

I have been a yoga student at Ezential Wellness since it’s conception and have always found it to be a positive and uplifting environment. Over the years, I have taken a variety of classes and feel each of the instructors, has something unique to offer. Classes range from gentle stretching and meditation, to more challenging routines. There is always an emphasis on achieving your personal best, in a non-competitive setting. During the Covid Pandemic, Lori kept classes going, despite all the challenges! These classes and the comraderie that accompanies them, have truly been an integral part of this yoga community’s support system for the past year and a half! We look forward to the days ahead, Namaste.

I can’t get enough of this place! I tried the 30-day unlimited classes in search of a best class or favorite teacher. After trying 8 classes and 5 teachers I gave up since I really enjoyed them all. Each time I walk through the door I immediately feel relaxed. The welcoming room is very clean and friendly, and designed to put one at ease with its natural light, comfortable chairs, and even a small store. No need to feel self-conscious if you are new to yoga. (I know since I’ve been doing gym yoga for 2 years in a crowded room full of physically fit people half my age!) The unique shape of the yoga room provides you with good visibility of the instructor from any vantage point. I could not help but notice the smaller private session rooms are very neat, spacious and well-designed. Even the bathrooms are exceptionally clean!

Our instructor Deepak, is wonderful . We are “guided” through our session and all the positions are explained simply and easy to follow. We are reminded to perform to the best of our abilities and never feel pressured to be “perfect”. I always have a great sensation of exhilaration after the class and a good sense of accomplishment as I can do more each week.I recently signed up for an additional 10 sessions.

I have been taking yoga classes from Lori for 10 years now. I never thought I’d be such a fan. The benefits of yoga in my life have been beyond compare. Stretching and maintaining strength and flexibility have been most important for me. But the meditation aspect is just as essential, the ability to relax my mind and clear my head. I find my yoga classes at this studio both relaxing and energizing, especially with my busy schedule and stress at work. I really miss my the practice when I cannot go, but It is that same schedule that makes it sometimes hard to find time to get to devote to myself.
